Virgil Abloh’s Summer in Chicago

Confession: Virgil is one of my favorite designers. His story, his connections and his background are astonishing. I recently got the opportunity to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago where Abloh’s work – from his early days as an architecture student to present day as the creative director of Louis Vuitton Menswear  – is on display for the summer.

Virgil’s “Figures of Speech” is a must-see exhibit. He is a perfect example of how blended passions lead to a remarkable career. He’s truly inspiring.

Check it out. If you’ve already visited, leave a comment about your experience and also share what you wore. I threw on an Off-White blazer on top of basics for the visit. I was casually cute, chic and comfortable.

” I believe in the romantic interchange between intellectuals about fashion.” – Virgil Abloh
